About this piece

The Land Rover Defender Resource Recovery Vehicle (RRV) is an imagined post-apocalyptic tanker truck that roams the industrial wasteland harvesting fuel from abandoned sites for transport back to the survivor encampment.

The truck body has been chopped and reconfigured from its factory/stock state with an expanded rear portion made from various found objects and household junk.

The tank is made from a modified shampoo bottle, and features a rear fuel level viewing port filled with soy sauce, to simulate the appearance and real physical movements of liquid as the working RC truck is operated.
