About this piece

I made this custom Jeep body as a tribute to both my own plein air landscape painting practice and the memory of legendary landscape painting instructor Bob Ross. It features numerous tiny tributes and Easter eggs referencing Bob and painting.

I took the madness one step further and modified a miniature Bob Ross doll to look like me and this became the Jeep's driver.

Not content with an already ludicrous level of ridiculousness, the truck and driver have become featured props in short plein air painting videos I make to document my own full size outdoor painting adventures.
