Still Life Paintings

The first genre that I received formal training in, still life paintings capture the essence of how light reveals form, surface, and texture. With them I attempt to elevate everyday objects and artifacts into the rarified air of timeless symbolism and universal themes, while paying tribute to the physical world all around us.
